It was quite an amazing weekend for the ladies here in the Treasure Valley of Idaho!
Where to start? With photos, of course. I was the designated photographer - from a 'willing heart' perspective rather than a professional or even an amateur view. Since I was able to use the church's camera to take the photos, I am still in the process of downloading then uploading some of the snapshots for you to see. I will get them here as soon as I figure it all out.
Next: What happened?
Ladies began to arrive about 6:30pm for the wonderful snacks and fellowship in the beautifully decorated foyer.
7:30pm - Worship - led by Ashley from Washington
let me tell you, that worship was so special. Ashley & team really did a great job, both vocally and instrumentally. But - so much more than that - they took the congregation straight to the throne of God in worship.
7:55pm - Interpretive Dance - led by Lori - "Princess and her crown"
8:00ish - Guest Speaker - Renee Clark - spoke a powerful word of challenge and encouragement
She shared testimony upon testimony of the goodness and POWER of GOD at work in her life and in the lives of those around her. Renee is a dynamic speaker - but watch out - she speaks to fast that if you get distracted you miss A LOT! I listened intently while taking the photos. I did have to move around a bit, but I really wanted to stay put to glean as much as I could.
I was definitely blessed!
